Job Title: Robotic Welder

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking skilled Robotic Welders to join our team in our Mayville, WI facility. As a Robotic Welder, you will be responsible for operating one or more weld machines to fabricate metal parts or assemblies to specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Lift and secure work pieces in fixtures or load automatic feeding devices.
  • Calculate and set controls to regulate machine factors, such as wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, type of gas, and type of weld rod.
  • Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Unload welded frames from robotic welders and place them on appropriate containers.
  • Perform basic MIG and TIG welding techniques as needed.
  • Maintain company quality, efficiency, and productivity standards.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an internal welding test.
  • Previous knowledge of fixtures and weld setup parameters (amps, volts, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, welding symbols, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills, and ability to multi-task.
