Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team for a 3 to 6-month project. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in C++ and QT6 for embedded systems, with a strong background in troubleshooting and improving existing applications.

The role requires daily stand-up meetings as part of an Agile, Scrum-based development process. As an embedded software expert, you will be responsible for developing and deploying software using C++ and QT6, integrating embedded systems with cloud-based services for seamless connectivity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Embedded Software Development: Utilize C++ and QT6 to design and deploy robust embedded software solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing applications to enhance functionality and performance.
  • Cloud Connectivity Integration: Seamlessly integrate embedded systems with cloud-based services.
  • Agile Collaboration: Work collaboratively within an Agile environment, adhering to Scrum processes.
  • Daily Stand-up Meetings: Participate in daily meetings to provide progress updates and address any blockers.
  • Code Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality code through peer reviews, testing, and best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with QT6 for embedded development.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize existing embedded applications.
  • Experience with cloud connectivity and integrating embedded systems with cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Scrum processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and availability for daily stand-up meetings.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on the location in Brecksville, Ohio. USA Firmware provides engineering and staffing services. Salary is commensurate with experience.
