Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate care to clients in their homes or at the Respite House, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being during a critical time.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and access the resources you need to succeed.
  • Deal calmly and efficiently with emergency situations if necessary.

Requirements:

  • Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
  • Previous homecare or facility care desired.
  • Ability to converse clearly and comfortably with clients who are elderly, ill and/or incapacitated, and to explain/teach basic skills.
  • Keen observation skills and the ability to report effectively.
