About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at HDR, a leading architectural and engineering firm. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing water and wastewater treatment structures and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations for water and wastewater treatment structures and facilities.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with process engineers and other engineers to make critical decisions from project concept to construction.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior professionals and technicians.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in water and wastewater treatment structures and facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of ACI 350 design code and experience with design software such as AutoCAD, RISA, and Staad.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
