Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Colby Campus. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, including the setup and operation of equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for imaging.
- Assist the physician during procedures, including monitoring the patient's vital signs and providing support as needed.
- Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or related field.
- Scrub and circulate skills required.
- Monitor and EKG skills preferred.
- Balloon angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left/right heart catherization, Rotablader, Paracentenesis, Hemo Dynamic Monitoring experience required.
- Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Pacemaker/Defib device placement, TAVI/TAVR procedure experience preferred.
This is a full-time position working days, with occasional weekend and on-call shifts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
