Role Summary:

Fort Myers Broadcasting Co. is on the lookout for an energetic Bilingual Radio Host with a solid foundation in digital media integration and content creation. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both English and Spanish, showcasing a successful history of captivating audiences across diverse digital platforms while fulfilling programming support responsibilities.


Key Duties:
  • Present live radio broadcasts, delivering engaging content in both English and Spanish to enhance listener interaction.
  • Design and implement innovative show segments that merge on-air programming with digital media.
  • Interact with the audience through calls, social media, and live events.
  • Generate and oversee content for the station's social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Conduct interviews with guests, creating exclusive material for both on-air and online audiences.
  • Collaborate with programming and digital teams to brainstorm concepts and promotional strategies.
  • Support the Programming team with daily operations, including music scheduling and content planning.
  • Maintain an active social media presence to promote the show and the station.
  • Participate in station events and remote broadcasts as required.
  • Comply with FCC regulations and station policies.

Qualifications:
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with exceptional communication skills in both languages.
  • Significant experience in blending on-air content with digital and social media.
  • Demonstrated success in engaging and expanding an online audience.
  • Strong grasp of social media trends and digital content development.
  • Proficient in radio audio editing software.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate unique and captivating show concepts.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Enthusiastic demeanor and a passion for radio and digital media.

Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a radio host with a focus on digital and social media integration.
  • Experience in creating engaging content for both on-air and online platforms.
  • Familiarity with various radio formats is advantageous.

  • Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for radio and digital media.
