Essential Qualifications

  • Proficient in Python programming
  • Experience with database querying
  • Knowledge in Risk Management:
  • Portfolio Risk Analysis
  • Value at Risk (VaR) methodologies including parametric and conditional
  • Monte Carlo simulations for portfolio P&L
  • Familiarity with MSCI-Barraone and/or Bloomberg risk platforms is advantageous
  • Full Stack development with a focus on Python
  • Proficient in data manipulation using pandas
  • Understanding of unit testing in Python is essential
  • Experience with financial market applications is a plus
  • Background in portfolio risk and risk analytics
  • Familiarity with financial data sources such as Barraone, Bloomberg, or FactSet
