Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of technical, clerical, and data-gathering duties to support pharmacists.
  • Dispense and deliver medications efficiently.
  • Serve pharmacy customers, obtaining and recording demographics, verifying insurance, and handling cashiering duties.
  • Manage insurance and third-party billing functions, including data entry of demographics, obtaining prior authorizations, maintaining files, and investigating errors in submissions.
  • Engage in cross-training in remote dispensaries and other specialized areas.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • Active Wisconsin State Pharmacy Technician registration and license.
    • Experience within automation, including filling tasks and processing prescriptions.
    • Strong attendance record and the ability to remain focused throughout your shift.
    • Ability to stand on your feet for the entire shift.
    • Tech-savvy with a capacity to adapt to new technologies.
    • No patient interactions required.
    • May be required to work every other Saturday depending on needs.
    • Casual but appropriate attire required.
    • Free parking available on-site.
