Medical Emergency Responder

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at Greenville Township Volunteer Ambulance. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in saving lives and making a positive impact in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and assess patients to determine the extent of their injuries or illnesses.
- Administer first aid and treatment to patients, collecting vital information and conveying it to hospitals or treatment facilities.
- Communicate effectively with hospitals, treatment centers, and other EMTs to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain a safe and efficient operation of our ambulance vehicles, ensuring proper inventory of medical supplies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay updated on the latest medical knowledge.
Requirements:
- NYS EMT certification required.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Compensation: Our estimated salary range is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive compensation package, opportunities for career advancement, and a supportive work environment.
