Clinical Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Instructor - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Stony Brook Medicine. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $145,000 per year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating follow-up solid tumor patients at the outpatient clinic of Stony Brook Cancer Center. They will also perform physical exams and procedures related to patient participation on clinical trials, present and discuss patients to appropriate clinical trials, review and evaluate laboratory findings for patients, manage complications of chemotherapy, and provide survivorship and long-term follow-up for cancer patients.
Required qualifications include a current NYS RN license, Master's degree in nursing, and NYS license and certification as an adult and/or family nurse practitioner or physician assistant's degree with NYS License and certification. Preferred qualifications include experience in the management and treatment of cancer and hematology patients, excellent communication skills, and experience with solid tumor patients.
