Lung Disease Specialist

Creekside Post Acute seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be responsible and reliable, and possess excellent communication skills.

Salary: $32-$36 per hour

• Under the direction of a Pulmonologist and Lead Respiratory Therapist, perform tasks related to respiratory care with a focus on long-term care.
• Set up and operate various types of respiratory equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease or illness upon request from a physician.
• Maintain a collaborative working relationship with the unit's clinical manager as the team leader.

• Must be able to perform maintenance of artificial airways, assess and wean mechanical ventilated patients, provide oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, DPI treatments, Tracheostomy tube changes, Pulse oximetry, CPT, and assist in resolving acute respiratory illnesses.
• Patient and family education/training is essential.
• Demonstrate ability to relate appropriately and work effectively with others, and prioritize multiple assignments without sacrificing quality.
