UofL Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Complex Medical/Trauma unit. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing care based on patient needs and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve established goals.
- Conduct comprehensive daily assessments, document patient information, and revise care plans as necessary.
- Deliver direct patient care, administer medications, and document interventions and progress towards patient goals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, reporting patient information and status as needed.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, contribute to quality initiatives, and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
- Completion of an LPN program at an accredited school of nursing.
- Prior acute care or rehab experience preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.
