Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Director to lead our Information Technology Department at Cibola General Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, establishing policies and procedures, and directing staff to ensure the effective delivery of IT services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement IT strategies to support hospital operations and improve patient care.
  2. Manage and supervise IT staff, including training, performance evaluations, and personnel actions.
  3. Develop and recommend department budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve hospital operations.
  5. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of electronically protected health information.
  6. Perform contract negotiations with vendors and ensure timely delivery of IT services.
  7. Develop and maintain department reports and provide regular updates to administration.
  8. Plan, organize, and direct IT department activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  9. Maintain department facilities and equipment to promote efficiency and safety of staff.
  10. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of IT and apply this knowledge to improve hospital operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, systems, data communications, and major software packages.
  • Experience with Active Directory and HMS Clinical Systems.

Chief Financial Officer

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, or view a computer screen for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions for extended periods.
