McLaughlin Research Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer Journeyman-SW to join our team. This position will involve engineering and technical support required across several departments of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport Washington.

Job Summary:

This position will involve engineering and technical support required across several departments of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport Washington. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling NUWC Division, Keyport's Test, Training and Evaluation (TT&E) of undersea warfare (USW) systems and operational readiness assessment support for acquisition and Fleet customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct systems engineering and leading technical teams throughout the engineering lifecycle with activities including technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessment, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems.
  • Provide engineering and technical support required across several departments of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport Washington.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control NUWC Division, Keyport's Test, Training and Evaluation (TT&E) of undersea warfare (USW) systems and operational readiness assessment support for acquisition and Fleet customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and services.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design, test plans, and technical reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree in an engineering discipline such as electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, or industrial engineering.
  • Four or more years of experience in conducting systems engineering and leading technical teams throughout the engineering lifecycle.
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Submarine system or sub-system engineering and test experience.
