Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our Aviation & Federal Global Practice. This role will involve leading civil engineering design projects for various clients in the commercial aviation, federal government, military, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead civil engineering design projects, including airfield, infrastructure, and facility projects
  • Develop master plans for state-of-the-art facilities, including aircraft maintenance hangars, engine maintenance facilities, and personnel training facilities
  • Design site infrastructure, including road geometry, parking lot layout, utility layout, grading, and drainage design
  • Design airfield infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, parking aprons, and alert shelters
  • Collaborate with internal design resources and external personnel to ensure project success
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program
  • Minimum 7 years related experience, preferably consulting
  • PE license in Civil Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in essential computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Photoshop
  • Experience in the use of 3D software to model civil engineering design
