Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at AtWork Group. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling small parts, capacitors, switches, and related components into cabinets, as well as fabricating various sub-assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble small parts, capacitors, switches, and related components into cabinets
  • Fabricate various sub-assemblies
  • Operate power tools and machinery
  • Meet quality and production standards
  • Assist sheet metal, grinding, and welding work crews as needed
  • Operate forklift to move pallets and cabinets
  • Assemble capacitor racks
  • Install oil switches, copper fuse holders, insulation, mountings, porcelain, links, and louver cover
  • Drill and install plastic fittings
  • Build transformer brackets
  • Verify correct clearances and hole diameters given blueprints
  • Operate air sander to deburr door handles
  • Operate mini-punches, grinders, band saws, impact wrenches, ratchets, and small hand tools
  • Makes up small hardware parts
  • Clean and maintain work area

Requirements:

  • Ability to work under close supervision
  • Ability to use power tools and machinery
  • Ability to meet quality and production standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
