Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Tax Accountant to enhance our dynamic finance team. This permanent role presents a unique chance to make a significant impact within a growing organization. The ideal candidate will take charge of preparing and evaluating corporate tax returns, conducting thorough tax research, executing tax strategies, and ensuring adherence to tax regulations. Additionally, you will engage in financial reporting, analysis, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation. A solid grasp of tax accounting, financial accounting, and tax legislation is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assess corporate tax returns, ensuring precision and compliance with applicable tax laws
  • Conduct tax research and deliver advisory services to the organization
  • Develop tax strategies aimed at reducing tax liabilities and enhancing tax credits
  • Generate financial statements and reports
  • Perform financial analysis to aid in business decision-making
  • Execute account reconciliation and bookkeeping duties
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Assist during tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
  • Utilize accounting software for maintaining financial records and generating reports
  • Stay informed about changes in tax laws and ensure organizational compliance
  • Support tax planning and forecasting initiatives

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns
  • Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting
  • Comprehensive understanding of tax and financial accounting principles
  • Familiarity with accounting software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • CPA certification or progress towards it is preferred.
