Job Description

Hearth Pizza Tavern is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team.

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen. This includes washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, and utensils, as well as ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in good working order.

We are looking for someone who is able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area, including the dishwasher, sinks, and countertops.
  • Washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, and utensils by hand or using the dishwasher.
  • Loading and unloading the dishwasher, as well as ensuring that it is functioning properly.
  • Sorting and organizing cleaned items in designated areas.
  • Ensuring that there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils available, especially during peak hours.
  • Removing garbage regularly and maintaining the restrooms when requested by management.
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and following the checklist for kitchen stations.
  • Assisting others in opening and/or closing the kitchen as needed.
  • Helping to maintain the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, prep, walk-ins, restrooms, dish areas, and outside areas through daily/weekly/monthly cleaning lists.
  • Attending all scheduled employee meetings.
