Dishwasher Assistant

Job Summary:

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Dishwasher, Part-Time. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dish machine or by hand

Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition

Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas

Assist with receiving and organizing stock

Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas

Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler

Requirements:

Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and equipment used in dishwashing work

Ability to exert continuous physical effort, including frequent bending, walking, and lifting

Previous dishwashing experience preferred

Superior customer service standards

Ability to maintain a safe work environment
