Key Responsibilities:

  1. Examination and Procedure Coordination: Maintain effective control of the mammography section by coordinating, planning, organizing, and executing the work.
  2. Patient Scheduling and Log Management: Schedule patients for exams and maintain a daily log of patients and procedures.
  3. Patient Positioning and Explanation: Receive and position patients for examination and explain procedures to secure maximum cooperation.
  4. Mammography Performance: Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms.
  5. Interventional Procedures: Assist the radiologist in interventional procedures.
  6. Quality Control: Perform Quality Control procedures.
  7. Image Display and Maintenance: Ensure that all mammogram images or films are displayed appropriately.
  8. Diagnostic Radiographer Skills: Maintain diagnostic radiographer skills.
  9. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment: This position is located in a medical center environment and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced setting with varying schedules, including rotating weekends, evenings, and holidays.
