Position Overview
Under the guidance of the Manager at Renown Health's Breast Center, the role involves producing high-quality diagnostic mammograms, assisting radiologists and referring medical professionals in mammographic procedures, and ensuring optimal patient care while embodying the mission of Renown Health.
Key Responsibilities
The primary challenges of this role include mastering the technical skills necessary for operating mammographic equipment effectively. The incumbent must exhibit the knowledge and competencies required to deliver care that is appropriate for adult and geriatric patients, ensuring adherence to quality standards as defined by departmental age-specific competency benchmarks.
The individual may also be tasked with additional responsibilities related to the Breast Center as required. This position holds the authority to make technical decisions aimed at achieving the highest possible quality of mammographic imaging. Proficiency in utilizing the MAMMOGRAPHY UNIT is essential, along with familiarity with hospital and departmental computer systems.
This role includes direct patient care responsibilities.
Essential Qualifications:
Education: A working-level proficiency in the English language, encompassing reading, writing, and verbal communication.
Experience: No prior experience is necessary.
Licenses: Must possess A.R.R.T. certification, R.T.(R)(M), and State of Nevada Certification.
Certifications: CPR certification is required upon hire.
