Grainger is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Minooka, IL Distribution Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of up to 25 warehouse staff members to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products to meet customer demands.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment and maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a high-volume, multi-shift, order fulfillment distribution center.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.

- Competitive Salary: $65,000 minimum target pay, bonus eligible.
