Home Care Specialist for Long Island Communities

Right at Home South Shore Long Island is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Care Specialist. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities in our local community.
In this position, you will have the chance to work closely with our clients, providing assistance with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and light housekeeping. About You
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior experience working with seniors or adults with disabilities is highly desirable. We also require a valid New York State Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certificate, as well as a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
