Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Onsite Women's Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Per Diem Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of office environments, utilizing the latest 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.
  • Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure, explaining the process to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Operate mammographic equipment, adjusting controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices and patient shielding skills.
  • Follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.
  • Examine digital images for image quality, ensuring equipment is in proper working order at all times.
  • Perform all required QA testing to comply with MQSA, ACR, and State requirements.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and process routine paperwork and data entry.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in mammography.
  • ARRT certification.
  • Up-to-date on all CME credits.
  • Patient-centric, compassionate, and computer-savvy.
  • Flexible and able to multi-task.
