About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Craftsman to join our team at Surface Experts - Katy/West Houston. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site repairs and maintenance services for a variety of customers in different industries, including property management, hotels, movers, and builders.
  • Utilize our unique 5-step repair process to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and support team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience in making or repairing furniture, preferably with a background in carpentry or fine woodworking.
  • Ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors, with a strong understanding of finishes such as lacquer, varnishes, oils, and blends.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and support team members.
