Nurse Practitioner

ChenMed is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage acute and non-acute clinical problems, performing physical assessments and documenting patient histories.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, including ordering laboratory and diagnostic studies, prescribing medications, and referring patients for consultation when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in patient care rounds and conferences, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful patient management strategies.
- Recognize situations requiring immediate physician attention and initiate life-saving procedures when necessary.
- ARNP or similar advanced degree in Nursing required.
- Current Nurse Practitioner Certification in the State of practice required.
- Board certification by AANP or ANCC is preferred but may be required for certain States.
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but willing to consider strong new graduates.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross required within the first 90 days of employment.
