Colorist Assistant

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Colorist to join our team. As a key member of our color bar, you will provide exceptional guest experiences, support our licensed colorists, and learn the skills necessary to become a licensed colorist in 3-9 months.

• Assist licensed colorists in providing seamless guest experiences, including consultations, color applications, and finishing services.
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Madison Reed products, services, and systems.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and key performance indicators, including retail sales, services, and memberships.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security.
• Adhere to protocols regarding Madison Reed systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through increasing average service tickets, sales of unlimited roots memberships, subscriptions, and home hair care products.

• Active cosmetology license in the state of employment.
• Entry-level experience in customer service or retail sales, with a preference for salon or beauty industry experience.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.
