About the Role
As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for supporting the planning and estimating stages of projects, ensuring efficient, safe, and economical form systems are incorporated into project designs. You'll also assist with preparing accurate formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field crews, work closely with the project team to monitor safety, cost, and scheduling, and troubleshoot concerns regarding structural design.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Estimating: Support the planning and estimating stages of projects to ensure the most efficient, safe, and economical form systems are incorporated into project designs.
- Formwork Layout and Instructions: Assist with the preparation of accurate formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field crews.
- Project Monitoring: Work closely with the project team to monitor the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot concerns regarding structural design with the project team.
- Quantity Surveys and Estimates: Aid in the preparation of quantity surveys, formwork estimates, and project proposals.
- Material Coordination: Assist in the coordination of material purchases, deliveries, tracking, and forecasting, ensuring maximum utilization of Ceco's physical resources.
- Special Projects: Manage special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.
Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or BIM Modeling, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to travel and work for extended periods on projects outside of the office area.
