Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) to develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
  • Conduct thorough physical assessments and gather detailed medical histories.
  • Administer nursing care within your scope of practice and refer complex medical issues to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the safe administration of prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Regularly assess and document patients' conditions, reporting any concerns to management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to all accreditation standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and a current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in crisis intervention, medical emergencies, and both physical and psychiatric nursing care.
  • Ability to work independently while performing nursing assessments and providing appropriate follow-up care.
  • Competence in using computers and relevant software applications.
  • A valid state driver's license is required.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently: Ability to lift or carry and push/pull up to 40 lbs; walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, and reach overhead.
  • Occasionally: Ability to lift or carry and push/pull up to 60 lbs; operate machinery and climb as needed.
