Job Overview

As a Tire Service Technician at GoMobile Tires PDX LLC, you will be responsible for the comprehensive installation and upkeep of tires and wheels. Your role will involve:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Performing tire and wheel installations, repairs, rotations, and inflation, as well as attaching and rebalancing wheels. You will also handle the installation, rebuilding, and calibration of Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
  • Efficiency and Accuracy: Carrying out tasks as specified in repair orders with precision and in line with industry standards.
  • Service Sales: Offering lubrication, safety inspections, and other related services to customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Keeping detailed records of regular customers and following up with reminders through various communication methods.
  • Fluid Management: Draining and refilling oil in vehicles, as well as replacing oil and air filters.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Checking fluid levels and replenishing as necessary, ensuring optimal vehicle performance.
  • Tire Pressure Checks: Monitoring tire pressure and adding air when required.
  • Lubrication: Applying specified lubricants to moving parts to ensure smooth operation.
  • Parts Coordination: Collaborating with the parts department to procure necessary components.
  • Defect Reporting: Notifying supervisors of any machinery defects or malfunctions.
  • Documentation: Keeping accurate records of all work performed on repair orders.
  • Training Participation: Engaging in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as directed by the service manager.
  • Technical Updates: Staying informed about manufacturer technical bulletins and updates.
  • Vehicle Care: Ensuring that customer vehicles are maintained in a clean condition and reporting any changes in appearance or condition.
  • Work Environment Maintenance: Keeping the work area organized and clean.
  • Tool Management: Being responsible for dealership-owned tools and manuals, ensuring they are returned in good condition.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding and adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and safety protocols.
  • Safety Practices: Operating all tools and equipment safely and reporting any safety concerns to management.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Performing other tasks as assigned.
