The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations and public areas within the resort. This role requires adherence to established policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities- Knowledge Compliance: Understand and comply with all departmental policies and service standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Familiarize yourself with the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
- Guest Interaction: Anticipate and respond to guest needs promptly, ensuring positive relations at all times.
- Service Familiarity: Be knowledgeable about hotel services and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Work Area Maintenance: Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.
- Cleaning Procedures: Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and techniques for various surfaces in accordance with safety regulations.
- Room Preparation: Clean and service guest rooms according to priority and hotel standards.
- Inventory Management: Manage and replenish cleaning supplies and amenities as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Inspect and maintain the condition of furniture and fixtures, reporting any damages.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards throughout all operations.
This position requires prolonged standing and movement throughout the shift, as well as the ability to perform manual tasks requiring dexterity.
QualificationsPrior experience in a hospitality environment is preferred. Strong communication skills in English are essential, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
