The Activity Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the quality of life for our community members by executing daily activities with them as a group or on an individual basis. This position will assist the Activity Director in designing and executing plans, programs, and events that cater to the diverse needs of our community members, including social, mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Activity Director to develop and implement activity plans that promote engagement and well-being among community members.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing quality activities that align with community member care plans.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community members, their families, and staff members.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of activity calendars, communication materials, and update activity/orientation boards.
  • Assist with community member special events, outings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
  • Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation among community members.
  • Provide leadership and support for high-quality volunteers.

Requirements:

  • Lead by example and maintain ethical standards.

  • Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of quality activities in accordance with community member care plans.
