We are seeking an experienced Acoustic Data Analyst to join our team at American Systems, a government services contractor focused on delivering strategic solutions to national priority programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Laboratory Operations: Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to ensure the smooth operation of laboratory facilities and acoustic calibration and certification efforts.
  • Acoustic Data Analysis: Analyze acoustic data collected during SONAR events to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Technical Documentation: Assist with the development of technical documentation and engineering support efforts to ensure the effective use of acoustic processing equipment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics, or three years of U.S. Navy fleet operational experience.
  • Experience: 3-7 years of technical experience with acoustic data acquisition systems.
  • Clearance: Active Secret security clearance required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in various tools including MS Office, MATLAB, and more.
