The Surgical Pavilion at Taylor Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility with 29 Pre-operative beds and 14 PACU beds, offering a range of outpatient and in-patient surgeries and procedures.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced RN to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team on a part-time basis. As an RN in this role, you'll provide high-quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Developing individualized plans of care based on patient goals and preferences
  • Implementing evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A current MI Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized organization
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a PACU or POHA setting
