About the Role
Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring high-quality imaging results.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment safely and proficiently to produce high-quality images.
- Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize efficient patient flow.
- Administer contrast fluid and explain procedures to patients to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Evaluate MR images for technical quality and exposure, and transmit them to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Requirements
- Technical or Associate's degree in radiography.
- Registration or registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Advanced certification in MRI.
