Endoscopy Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endoscopy Nurse to join our team at Wellington Regional Medical Center. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our endoscopy department.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume responsibility for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to endoscopy patients, including their families, caregivers, and relevant others.
  • Display competency in all aspects of endoscopy nursing, including patient assessment, medication administration, and procedural preparation.
  • Assume charge responsibilities as needed and perform on-call duties for the endoscopy department.
  • Support activities that align with the facility's vision, mission, and goals, promoting a culture of patient-centered care and excellence.
  • Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Minimum of one year of endoscopy experience.
  • Minimum of one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing.
  • BLS (current upon hire).
  • ACLS, PALS, and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire).
  • Current Florida nursing license.
  • Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
