Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Obstetrics Unit team at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the provision and reinforcement of patient education according to the plan of care.
  • Transcribe, utilize and implement protocols and physician orders as directed by RN.
  • Coordinate with healthcare team to provide patient care, treatment and services.
  • Participate in monitoring and evaluation of patient care on the unit and identify opportunities to improve care, treatment and services on unit.
  • Assist in clerical duties on the unit.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous CNA experience preferred.
  • Current, valid CNA certification issued in the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Wyoming State Board of Nursing.
  • Must be in good standing with the Wyoming Department of Health CNA Registry.
  • Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 60 days of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with IMH.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff, managers and the general public verbally and in writing.

  • Excellent organization and time management skills and ability to establish priorities effectively.
  • Possess exceptional problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively without immediate supervision.
  • Ability to learn new computer software programs.
  • Ability to recognize and protect confidential information.
  • Demonstrate ethical and legal accountability for the position.
