Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Chemical Production Operator. This position entails working during the night shift, specifically from Monday evening to Friday morning. The schedule consists of four workdays, each comprising 10.5 hours, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. As a Chemical Production Operator, you will be responsible for collaborating with the foreman from the previous shift to receive instructions on nightly tasks, participating in various training sessions across multiple production processes, and managing materials and operations critical to our pigment and paint production.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to lift weights up to 60 lbs
  • Proficiency in wearing a respirator
  • Experience in chemical mixing
  • Competence in following detailed operational guidelines
  • Familiarity with computer systems for standard operating procedures and mixing instructions
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculations

  • Flexibility to train in various roles
  • Keen attention to detail

Work Environment

The work setting is a temperature-regulated facility with a small team of approximately 15 staff members. The atmosphere is generally relaxed, with minimal supervision, although it may be dusty at times, necessitating the use of a respirator during mixing tasks. The facility is equipped with industrial machinery, including kettles and mixers, and while it is not excessively noisy, uniforms are provided to safeguard personal attire from paint and dust.
