Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, adjusting equipment settings, and positioning patients. They will also assist physicians in assigned examinations and ensure the safe use of ionizing radiation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Conduct various types of diagnostic X-ray procedures, adjust X-ray equipment settings, and determine proper voltage and exposure.
- Assist Physicians: Assist physicians in assigned examinations, utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations.
- Ensure Radiation Safety: Ensure the safe use of ionizing radiation, positioning patients, and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient examinations, including documentation of procedures and results.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other medical staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or board eligibility.
- 2+ years of experience in radiology or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
