Job Overview
An exciting opportunity for an Oncology Nurse is available. This role involves active participation in the Cancer Service Line unit.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.
- Previous travel nursing experience or local experience in New York City is essential.
- Level 1 Trauma experience is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty within the last 3 years is necessary.
- Two references from the most recent assignment within the relevant skill set are required.
- Flexibility to float to appropriate units based on skill set is expected.
- A valid New York State RN License must be presented.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential.
- A skills checklist matching the required skill set is mandatory.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is required.
- Candidates must be COVID vaccinated prior to the start date.

Work Schedule
Initial Start Dates: Weekly start dates are typically 4-6 weeks on average to complete compliance.

Shift Details:
- 9.5-hour shifts starting at 8 AM, with no weekends or holidays.

Total Weekly Hours:
- 38 hours.

Call Requirement:
- None.

Weekend Requirement:
- Every other weekend.

Float Requirement:
- Yes, to areas within acuity.

Additional Information
Vaccination Requirements:
- Flu and COVID vaccinations are required, with no declinations accepted.

Uniform Guidelines:
- Navy bottoms with a white top or all white attire. Navy bottoms must be paired with dark shoes, while all white attire requires white shoes.
