Role Summary:
As a Refrigeration Inventory Specialist, you will be instrumental in the seamless functioning of our cooler operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining precise inventory records, optimizing cooler organization, and ensuring products are stored and retrieved in accordance with safety and operational protocols.
Key Duties:
- Receive and verify incoming cooler stock against purchase documentation.
- Efficiently store and arrange items in designated cooler zones based on temperature and product specifications.
- Regularly monitor cooler conditions and promptly report any inconsistencies or concerns.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting and packing items from the cooler for distribution.
- Assist with inventory assessments and audits as necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of cooler areas to meet health and safety regulations.
- Operate forklifts or other machinery for product movement and storage as required (if certified).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in a warehouse or distribution setting, ideally within a cooler or refrigerated context.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in inventory oversight.
- Physical endurance to lift heavy items and work in cooler conditions.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory management and data entry.
Work Environment:
This role involves working in a cooler setting with fluctuating temperatures. It may necessitate lifting heavy items and extended periods of standing, bending, and reaching. A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and potential overtime, may be required.
