Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN/LVN

Tact Staff is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled LPN to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work with diverse populations, and have a strong understanding of evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
  • Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration).
  • Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
  • Collect samples and monitor catheters.
  • Provide wound care.
  • Assist nursing & medical staff with basic medical tasks.
  • Sterilize equipment and stock up any necessary supplies.
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Perform lab/diagnostic testing (i.e. urine dip, pregnancy test, rapid covid tests) as ordered by provider while utilizing universal precautions; reports all critical lab values to immediately; performs quality controls and maintains all laboratory/diagnostic test logs.
Requirements:
  • NYS LPN Licensure.
  • AHA BLS.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience.
