Position Title: Dining Room Attendant

Job Category: Hospitality Food and Beverage

Job Overview:

This role is designed for individuals seeking a flexible work schedule, offering between 20-29 hours per week. As a Dining Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring an outstanding dining experience for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist servers by providing water service during meals and bread and butter service during dinner.
  2. Reset tables and maintain a well-stocked environment for efficient service.
  3. Support the upkeep of the dining area, side stations, kitchen service zones, and dish breakdown areas.
  4. Offer general assistance to leadership and the team as required.

Compensation: $15 - $20/hour or more, based on business volume and including tips.

Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred, especially in upscale dining establishments.
  2. Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  3. Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to perform tasks swiftly and accurately.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  5. Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative when necessary.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure effectively.

Essential Duties:

  1. Provide attentive guest service by replenishing table items and addressing guest needs promptly.
  2. Adhere to all service procedures and company policies.
  3. Comply with state liquor regulations, ensuring responsible service.
  4. Maintain cleanliness by replacing soiled linens, cleaning tables, and setting up dining areas.
  5. Ensure a tidy dining environment by clearing completed courses and replenishing utensils as needed.
  6. Conclude service by cleaning and organizing the dining area.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull weights of 25-50 pounds.
  2. Capability to endure various physical movements throughout the work shift.
  3. Comfortable working in diverse environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
