DescriptionFLOAT POOL REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
A Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) will float to various med/surg units based on departmental needs. The Float Pool RN will receive $1 per hour in addition to their base rate of pay.
Cullman Regional (CR) is a 145-bed, fully accredited medical center that serves more than 175,000 residents in a six-county area and is and has been a part of the community since 1939. The hospital is part of an extensive medical complex built in 1995 that contains some of the newest medical equipment and technology available today. CR is dedicated to promoting wellness by providing excellent healthcare services in the most efficient manner and exceeding the expectations of those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality patient care for assigned hospital unit(s) in accordance with hospital and departmental standards.
- Maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice to meet the health care needs of patients, their families, and the community.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate the plan of care activities for assigned patients.
- Identify opportunities to participate in unit performance improvement activities as directed.
- Meet Joint Commission standards, comply with all state and federal regulations, comply with hospital policy and procedures, manage supplies and equipment, promote teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, promote internal and external customer satisfaction, and manage resources appropriately.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- RN License in this state required.
- Minimum one year experience required.
