Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and health status, identifying areas for improvement and communicating with department directors, physicians, and charge nurses as needed.
  • Provide skilled, evidence-based care under the direction of a physician, evaluating the efficacy of problem-solving techniques and activities implemented to improve the department.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards, documenting patient information and vital signs.
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an AMA Accredited Respiratory Therapy program and credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified (CRT) or Registered (RRT) Respiratory Therapist.
  • Must be licensed within the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
  • One year of clinical experience.
