Correctional Healthcare Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Quality Medical Technician to join our team at Quality Correctional Care. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of inmates at the Shelby County Jail while working every other weekend from 8 AM to 4 PM.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months of experience in the medical field and be certified as an EMT, QMA, or CMA. A strong understanding of medication administration, vital signs, and laboratory specimen collection is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are also required.
In this role, you will work closely with facility staff and on-call medical providers to provide timely and effective patient care. You will be responsible for administering medications, obtaining vital signs, and assisting with sick calls using medical protocols. Additionally, you will communicate with facility staff and on-call medical providers to ensure seamless patient care.
