Actuary Leader

We are seeking an experienced Director & Actuary-Commercial Property to join our team. This key role will play a leading part in transforming GUARD into a top-tier commercial insurer.

• Provide strategic input and collaborate with business partners on product development and profitability management.
• Initiate, organize, and lead actuarial analyses for the Commercial Property line, including delegation to others.
• Manage multiple assignments independently and simultaneously with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.
• Lead methodology enhancements and enable efficiencies within the department and throughout the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or another field with a rigorous mathematics background.
• ACAS or FCAS required.
• At least 7 years of Actuarial experience, with experience in Commercial Property pricing.
• Results-oriented with the ability to multi-task and adjust priorities when necessary.
• Experience managing or mentoring less experienced team members.

• Competitive compensation: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
