Job Summary: As an Equipment Maintenance Lead, you will oversee the maintenance department and ensure smooth production operations. Your expertise in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment modification will be invaluable in maintaining our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Oversee routine maintenance and repairs of production machinery, including machines, conveyors, and related equipment
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the maintenance team

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.; 6+ years leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or flexible packaging environment; 3-5 years experience as a Millwright; 4-6 years electrical and machine experience; Technical school or skilled trade program preferred
