Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Beacon Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other non-invasive diagnostic studies to help our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic studies to assess cardiac function and structure
  • Prepare data for physician interpretation and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency
Requirements
  • RDCS or RCS certification required; new graduates must obtain within 2 years of graduation
  • 1-2 years of job-related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of general anatomy and physiology, basic physical principles of ultrasound, and medical terminology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
