We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Beacon Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other non-invasive diagnostic studies to help our patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic studies to assess cardiac function and structure
- Prepare data for physician interpretation and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency
- RDCS or RCS certification required; new graduates must obtain within 2 years of graduation
- 1-2 years of job-related experience preferred
- Knowledge of general anatomy and physiology, basic physical principles of ultrasound, and medical terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
