Mountain Security Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Mountain Security Specialist to join our team at Vail Resorts. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees across our resorts.

This is an entry-level position that requires minimal experience but offers excellent opportunities for growth and development. As a Mountain Security Specialist, you will work closely with our security team to identify and mitigate potential safety risks, respond to emergencies, and provide exceptional service to our guests.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to lift 25 pounds, and possess a valid driver's license. You will also need to be able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Safety and Security: Identify and report safety issues, assist guests and staff in a professional manner, and provide high-visibility presence to deter criminal activity.
• Incident Response: Respond to and investigate incidents, accidents, and other security-related events.
• Support Functions: Assist with transporting deposits and banks from sales locations to vaults, and perform other duties as assigned.

• Compensation: $20-$22/hour (expected pay range)
